The transformation of Keystone Preserve from a private fishing club accessed by a very few ardent anglers into a very small community of families will be guided by a partnership committed to conservation focused low density havens. Carefully designed amenities will
compliment the Preserve’s natural offerings providing a curated, high quality experience to Preserve owners and their guests. The creation of a truly private place will emerge in which each owner’s enclave is simply a part of their ownership of the entire property and all of the amenities.
Serenity – nearly 4,000 acres of your own private preserve. No crowds – only a very few neighbors that you will only see if you choose. The only sounds that surround you are the wind rippling through the majestic hardwoods, the trout stream cascading over the falls and the occasional reminders that you share this land with birds and other wildlife.
Activity – your Preserve is filled with choices. A world class trout stream is at your doorstep with a variety of angling experiences for every skill level. You can grab a horse for a trail ride at the Equestrian Center, jump on your mountain bike with trails from challenging to scenic, experience a round of skeet or take a hike surrounded by beauty that renews you.
Convenience – no need to plan a trip to Keystone Preserve – it's a drive of less than two hours from New York City and 90 minutes from Philadelphia and has everything you need already there. You can arrange to have your refrigerator stocked, your home cleaned, your property maintained and even your meals cooked for you so that you can do nothing while experiencing everything.
Keystone's three miles of pristine trout stream have been cited as the finest in the Northeast featuring diverse fishing experiences, ideal for all anglers ranging from the most expert to the novice. The extraordinarily limited access assures a unique level of solitude especially elusive on the East Coast.
The Preserve's Historic River Compound will feature a lodge with a great room, a magnificent fireplace, a game room, an entertainment area and an expansive kitchen.
Perched on a hill overlooking the dam, remodeled cottages, configured as expanded suites, will provide casual elegant lodging. All of these amenities are owned by, and available exclusively to, the owners and their invited guests.
The Preserve's Equestrian Center will feature Preserve owned horses, ample stalls, a tack room, an adjacent riding and instruction arena and turnout pastures. A full-time trainer for the Equestrian Center oversees the horses, provides riding lessons and leads trail rides within the Preserve.
Professionally designed skeet, trap and sporting clay ranges will be situated in a distant corner of the Preserve to ensure safety and minimize impact on the rest of the Preserve.
The Lehigh Gorge State Park, Hickory Run State Park and State Game Lands all abut the Preserve and welcome hunters where birds and deer are plentiful.
A 200-acre open meadow offers an opportunity for significant gardens featuring a variety of perennial and annual flowers and a robust assortment of fruits and vegetables - all available for the owners’ tables.
The fitness center, pool and game room are designed so that they will be able to offer more recreational options for owners and their families. Keystone will provide miles of professionally designed and constructed hiking, riding and mountain biking trails within the Preserve.
The Keystone Preserve includes protected waterfowl and wetland habitats, with ongoing river and fisheries management and preservation of the Preserve's many varieties of fauna. The planners for Keystone Preserve have taken special care to ensure that this unique property can be enjoyed for generations to come by the select few who are able to participate as owners.
Two state of the art hospitals are located within 20 minutes of Keystone Preserve and several small airports serve the community. Additional recreation opportunities abound. The Lehigh Gorge, which borders the Preserve's Western boundary, offers both the 24-mile Railway Bike Path and white-water rafting expeditions. Explore, hike and hunt in state parks that flank the Northern, Southern and Eastern flanks of the Preserve. Enjoy six golf courses within a 30-minute drive and two ski resorts 7 and 16 miles from the main gate.
A combination of on-site and locally qualified staff allow owners the hassle-free experience that encourages enjoyment of their stay at their Preserve.
